The programming that has been a strength of WPS will remain and we will continue to improve access for all youth and families. Our budget decisions are rooted in the priorities of the deep work that culminated in the new five-year strategic plan, Our Promise to the Future to ensure the success of our scholars. Information About Drinking Water At Schools We are writing to clarify information about the availability of drinking water in our schools. First and foremost, all students and staff have access to drinking water in school buildings. In addition, Worcester Public Schools (WPS) is in the process of installing approximately 100 water bottle filling stations in schools throughout the district this year. Worcester Tech Students Receive Grant to Visit Historic Williamsburg From April 15 to April 20, 2024, Worcester Technical High School students from Mike Metivier’s history class had the chance to visit historic landmarks of American history thanks to a grant awarded by the American Battlefield Trust’s History Field Trip Grant Program.
